As a result of research and in-depth studies, 2009 is seeing the introduction of an important new product for the architectural community and in particular for restoration projects.
It is called the Flex OS2 series, it is a thermally broken system designed for the production of windows and doors. The units can be produced in a variety of metals such as Galvanized Steel, Cor-Ten Steel, Stainless Steel, and Bronze. The sightlines on the new series are 1 11/16” (46 mm)_at the jambs and 2 1/2” (64 mm) at the meeting rail of a french casement. The series offers aesthetic features that are ideal for restoration and repair work: double doors and windows with reduced visible sections consequently providing larger glazed areas. Highly refined and perfect for restoring the great historical architectural heritage of the United States, the Flex OS2 series achieves high performance in terms of energy savings and sound insulation in compliance with today’s requirements.
